Accordion is being taught on button-handle and keyboard models. In addition to a broad range of concert literature for solo accordion ensemble performances in different chamber musical lineups are promoted.
The field of study Music Education – Voice and Instruments (IGP) focuses not only on a comprehensive artistic accordion education but also on the development of pedagogical mediation and communication skills. The development of practical teaching skills is provided by the cooperating music schools of the city of Vienna, as well as by the supervision of the MUK teachers and helps the students to be able to independently develop according to their own pedagogically valuable convictions acting teachers.
