What do grandma's best pastries and the Viennese art and music tradition have in common? Both connect and bring people from all over the world together. Reason enough to open a Vollpension cafe in the Music and Art University of the City of Vienna (MUK) in the middle of the first district — between the Opera and St. Stephen's Cathedral. In addition to many cakes from our grannies and grandpas, this location trumps with Vienna's largest set box and grandma's glass cake grand piano.
The Vollpension at the MUK consists of two rooms, a retrofuturistic granny bakery complete with Vienna's largest setting box and a music salon, which boasts a heated neon fireplace, the "Gerlinde" autograph collection and a — cake-filled — baby grand piano made of glass.
