Students from our partner institutions who wish to study at the Music and Art Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK) as part of the Erasmus+ programme can apply under the following conditions:
Application deadline: 1st of April (for the next academic year)
The application for an Erasmus mobility is done via the application tool Dreamapply EASY.
- Motivation letter
- Enter expected courses under "study plans" on EASY (Learning Agreement)
- Recording: previous artistic work - Link (YouTube, Dropbox etc.)
- Transcript of Records
Please note that only complete applications can be considered. Also keep in mind that the quality of your application has an influence on whether you will be shortlisted.
Wintersemester: mid-September - end of January
Summersemester: mid-February - end of June
The learning agreement is of great importance to your application as it guarantees that courses attended at MUK are recognized and accredited within the curriculum of your home institution. For the application process it is sufficient to enter the subjects under "study plans" on EASY (approx. 30 ECTS / semester). After receiving a study place, an additional registration on OLA is necessary. There you create the Learning Agreement, which you then submit to the host university.
You can find all necessary information (curricula, courses, etc.) in MUKonline.
As all courses at MUK are held in German, you are advised to take a preparatory language course. There is a great variety of offers, for example the Goethe institute.
First, the applications are checked by the IRC for compliance with the programme requirements.
Complete applications are then handed over to the head of the relevant department, his/her subject coordinator and the teachers concerned, who in turn examine the applications in detail. Applicants will be selected on the basis of the quality of their application, their artistic level and human resources.
We will inform all applicants of the results of the selection procedure by mid-June!
MUK does not offer accommodation for its students.
The following websites can assist you in finding accommodation (dormitories, student residences, shared accommodation, flats, links to further sites):
