Kreativ.Lab — An interdisciplinary project of the MUK

The KreativLab was brought to life in 2022 and is an interdisciplinary project of the Faculty of Performing Arts at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK). As part of the newly created format, students have the opportunity to come together in interdisciplinary ensembles from the fields of dancing, singing and acting. Together they dedicate themselves intensively to interdisciplinary work, collaboration, the mutual exchange of practical experience and its questioning as well as the exploration of new artistic forms. The synergy effects should lead to results that are enriching and surprising for all participants.

Based on this year’s theme If nothing changes, nothing changes!, students develop an artistic project of their own creation. They may draw on existing material (texts, musical works, compositions, etc.) to create something new.
Please note that the exploitation rights of copyright-protected material (especially on social media) must be observed.

The artistic results will be shown as a parcours in the premises of the Theater am Werk on Petersplatz. Two performance runs are planned for Tue, 22 December 2026 at 11:00—13:00 and 15:00—17:00.
