Małgorzata Woltmann-Żebrowska

The Polish mezzo-soprano Małgorzata Woltmann-Żebrowska graduated from the vocal program taught by Professor Grażyna Flicińska-Panfil at The Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań.
She honed her vocal skills through courses run by, among others, Ryszard Karczykowski, Ewa Podleś; the early music master class taught by Marek Toporowski, and the vocal master class with Teresa Berganza. She has performed a variety of concerts both at home and abroad.
Her repertoire includes opera arias, oratorios, cantatas, and song cycles, for example: R.Schumann’s „Frauenliebe und Leben,” M.de Falla’s „Siete cansiones populares espanolas,” G. Mahler’s „Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen,” and A.Tansman’s „Huit melodie japonaises Kai-Kai”,  „Cinq melodie pour chant et piano”, „Six songs for voice and piano, extrakted from Poems for Music by Pricess Nada de Braganca”, Quatre Sonnets de Shakespeare pour chant et piano”. She mainly performs oratorio and cantata music, for example: A.Vivaldi’s „Gloria,” G.B. Pergolesi’s „Stabat Mater,” W.A.Mozart’s masses, G.F.Haendel’s „The Messias”, G.Donizetti’s „Parafrasi del Christus”, J.Haydn’s „Missa in tempore belli” and „Die sieben letzten Worte unseres Erlosers am Kreuze”, G. Rossini’s „Stabat Mater”  and the works by Polish composers - G. Gorczycki’s Completorium and M.J.Żebrowski’s „Magnificat” .
Małgorzata Woltmann-Żebrowska has worked with The Pomeranian Philharmonic, The Gorzów Philharmonic, and The Poznań Philharmonic. She has released the following records: G.B.Pergolesi’s „Stabat Mater,” with the conductor H. Malicka, and a solo album which spans Tansman’s song cycles, with the pianist B. Dmochowska. The latter one is especially remarkable as it is the first CD with the works of Aleksander Tansman in the world.
She is equally involved in performing and teaching. She has worked as a lecturer at The Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań for sixteen years. First, she taught in the Department of Music Education, Choral Conducting and Church Music. Since 2007, she has taught the solo singing program in the Department of Vocal and Acting Studies.
In 2007, she gained the Doctor of Arts degree in vocal studies at The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warszawa. She has been a habilitated doctor since 2013.
She has also worked with The Poznań Nightingales, a boys’ choir from Poznań, for thirteen years. Previously, with the conductor S. Stuligrosz, and now with M. Wieloch. She works with her students on their vocal techniques and performing skills. Additionally, she is a lecturer at The Poznań University of Physical Education (AWF) and Collegium Da Vinci in Poznań.
 

Szymon Musioł

Geboren in Ostrów Wielkopolski (Polen). In seiner Heimatstadt besuchte er die Musikschule, wo er seine musikalische Grundausbildung erhielt. Zum Pianisten ausgebildet wurde er an der Musikhochschule in Poznań (Posen), wo er Klavier bei Prof. Waldemar Andrzejewski studierte und 2003 sein Studium mit Auszeichnung abschloss. Seit diesem Zeitpunkt unterrichtet er an der Posener Hochschule als Pianist und Korrepetitor.
Er tritt als Solist und Kammermusiker auf, besonders gern widmet er sich der Vokal- und Violinmusik. In den letzten Jahren arbeitete er mit vielen bekannten polnischen und internationalen Künstlern wie Yair Kless, Joanna Kozlowska, Antonina Kowtunow, Andrzej Ogórkiewicz, Jerzy Mechlinski und Mariusz Derewecki zusammen und trat als Korrepetitor und Pianist in Polen, Deutschland, Österreich und in der Schweiz auf.
Er gab Meisterkurse für Sänger und Pianisten an der Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rom, an der Europa Chor Akademie in Görlitz, in Duszniki-Zdrój, Płock und Włoszakowice.
2015 nahm er eine Solo-CD mit zwei großen Klavierwerken von Johannes Brahms auf: Variationen über ein Thema von Paganini op. 35 und Variationen und Fuge über ein Thema von Händel op. 24.
Seit 2012 ist er stellvertretender Dekan der Abteilung für Gesang an der Posener Musikakademie.
