Step 1:

The application for the entrance examination is done via the application mask in MUKonline. All necessary steps for the application for the entrance exam are listed here.

Step 2:

The entrance examination is done by sending in application videos. Important information for a correct recording of your application video can be found here.

The application video includes:

  • Artistic presentation

Artistic presentation

The program corresponds to the artistic program specifications. The applicants themselves choose the order of the program. The entire program must be recorded. Each piece should be uploaded separately.

Examination program:

2 operettas - arias, - songs, - chansons in German language.

Musical-dramatic - i.e. not only "vocally performed" - interpretation of the chosen arias.
Clarity in the arrangement and presentation of mental processes. Readability of mental transitions, also during auditions and interludes.

This does not necessarily require "walks" or big movements, but mental preparation and development of the content, which is reflected in voice colour, speech formation, facial expression, body, acting commitment.

Interpretation of buffo and soubo board numbers must show dance and movement training or talent.

Accompaniment is to be arranged by the participants themselves - piano accompaniment is preferred but playback accompaniment is also possible.

The choice of technical means is up to you, as it is in your own interest that sound and image quality are as meaningful as possible.

You will be informed personally via e-mail about the result of your video application.
