This workshop will revolve around the conventional repertoire for saxophone, emphasizing on a project called „sensophone“. Francisco Javier Rodriguez García sets sensors and controllers to a conventional saxophone in order to control electro-acoustic processes in real time. This way, the saxophone is keeping connected to a computer using WI-FI and an arduino micro-controller. The project responds to a new trend in electro-acoustic music called „amplified instruments“.
