Teaching, examination and event organisation

Courses are generally taught in distance learning! Only certain non-substitutable courses can be held in attendance, subject to the following safeguards:

  • All face-to-face courses must be agreed in advance with the responsible head of the study programme.
  • All classes held in presence are held exclusively in agreement between lecturers and students.
  • Students and teachers are required to wear FFP2 masks.
  • For courses with wind instruments and for singing and speaking, teachers are provided with an FFP2 mask at the porter's lodge.
  • For wind instruments, singing and speaking, additional partition walls are to be used in the lessons (partitions are available in the rooms or from the porters).
  • Rooms must be aired for at least 10 minutes every lesson and before each lesson.
  • Documentation of attendance is mandatory and must be complete! Attendance lists must be kept by the course instructors for each course unit. These must be kept for at least 28 days and made available at all times.
  • All MUK events are cancelled until further notice.

However, the aim of this safety concept is still the maximum reduction of attendance at the MUK. For non-substitutable courses, a 50% attendance rate is therefore recommended.
