COVID-19 safety concept of the MUK

Stay healthy! Stay negative! Get vaccinated! (as of 4 July 2022)

The MUK does not actively follow up on COVID-19 contacts during the summer holidays. Nor will personalised advice be sent on the prescribed behaviour in the event of infection with the Corona virus. Please personally inform all persons with whom you had contact from 48 hours before the test that gave a positive result.

Please strictly adhere to the legal regulations. If in doubt, call 1450 for official information on all matters concerning COVID-19.

The following rules apply at MUK for the summer months:

COVID-19 infected persons

If you test positive for the Corona virus, please inform MUK immediately at Staff members should also contact
People infected with COVID-19 must stay away from the MUK for at least 5 days. If the PCR test result is negative after 5 days, access is allowed again, otherwise you have to stay away for 10 days.

COVID-19 contacts

People who have been in the vicinity of a person infected with COVID19 (SARS-CoV-2) must stay away from the MUK for 5 days (this applies to all MUK locations and events). After this time, please take a PCR test and return to the MUK if the result is negative.
Exceptions to this are people who have worn an FFP2 mask throughout contact with a person who later tested positive and people who have themselves contracted COVID-19 within the last 60 days prior to contact. Persons who are fully immunised may enter the MUK but are required to wear an FFP2 mask at the MUK for the five days following contact.

FFP2 masks

It is strongly recommended that FFP2 masks are worn in general areas and during all activities involving more than one person in a room, if this permits the performance of the artistic activity.

Event operations

It is recommended that the public wear FFP2 masks during events at MUK venues. All performers must provide a COVID-19 test on the day of the event, with antigen tests provided by the MUK.

If required, the following members of the Corona Task Force will be available to assist them during the specified times:
