The following adjustments to the measures of the COVID-19 safety concept of the MUK are to be implemented from Mon, 12 April 2021: All MUK sites may only be entered with a negative CORONA test. These must be shown to the porters on entry. Alternatively, anyone who has had COVID-19 in the last six months can show proof that they have overcome the disease.
Find out here how to get a Corona test.
All existing COVID-19 safety measures of the MUK remain in place.
Please note: Conventional antigen self-tests are not accepted as access tests, as they lack the control whether and by whom the test was correctly performed and evaluated.
Persons who do not live in Vienna are requested to additionally inform themselves about testing offers at their places of residence and to make use of them.

Please note: All other rules of the COVID-19 safety concept of the MUK (ventilation, keeping distance, partition walls, etc.) still apply, of course!
The COVID-19 safety concept of MUK is based on the ordinances and recommendations of the Federal Ministries and is continuously adapted to the current ordinances, which are observed by all MUK members.
If the safety concept is adhered to and as long as they are not ill, the members of the MUK can use the buildings and infrastructure of the MUK during the COVID-19 pandemic under consideration of the following basic rules.
The MUK offers its members regular corona tests; reliable participation in these tests enables the following adjustments within the current Corona safety concept.
At the MUK, FFP2 masks are mandatory as soon as more than one person is in a room, as well as in all public areas of the MUK.
Employees in particular need of protection are recommended to contact the Human Resources Management (email@example.com, +43 1 512 77 47-240) and not to visit the premises of MUK during the COVID 19 pandemic for the time being. If necessary, special arrangements can be made with Human Resources Management in consultation with the rectorate.
The MUK uses technical measures to protect MUK members.
As recommended in the COVID-19: Guidelines for Secure University Operations of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, the rectors of the Austrian music and arts universities have coordinated their respective COVID-19 safety concepts with each other.
