The Dance degree offers a five-year preparatory course for students aged 12* to 15 years old. The objective is early and extensive training of students with exceptional physical and artistic talent before they start studying for the BA Contemporary Dance and Ballet. The central artistic subject is classical dance. Other complementary subjects (contemporary dance, improvisation, repertoire, artistic project work, acrobatics, gymnastics, rhythm, historical dance and character dance) ensure holistic dance and artistic preparation for professional studies.
This is the only opportunity in Austria to complete a university dance degree and school-leaving certificate in a joint programme (BG & BRG Boerhaavegasse, 1030 Wien with optional boarding). More information at www.boerhaavegasse.at
