Regular students (BA/MA students) of the MUK can enroll at the University of Applied Arts (Angewandte) and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna as non-regular programme students during the admission period. Students of the MUK have the possibility to take courses at these universities and to have them recognized for their studies at the MUK. For this purpose, no tuition fee but only the student union fee (ÖH) has to be paid. An application for reimbursement of the ÖH fee paid twice must be submitted directly to the ÖH.

Officially enrolled students of the University of Applied Arts Vienna can co-register at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna at the Student Affairs Office during normal opening hours during the registration period.
Attention: You must co-register at the MUK every semester, this is not automatically extended!

Winter semester: End of October
Summer semester: End of February
To co-register, you will need:
- To have submitted your student pre-registration
- To upload a passport photograph on MUKonline (for your student ID)
- Passport or ID
- Student ID (with current semester sticker)
- Current record of studies
- Your social security number, e-card (only for Austrian citizens)
At registration, you will receive your student ID and your login for MUKonline.

Lots of courses require specific knowledge and artistic skills (especially continuously assessed courses and private and group classes for artistic subjects). For this reason, please speak to the relevant course management or Student Affairs Office about your eligibility to take a course!
