Fumié ItoFumié Ito is graduate of Tôhô Gakuen School of music (Japan) and of the Conservatoire Natinal Supérieur de Musique et danse in Paris (France).She won a prize for interpretation at the French Music Competition in Kyoto.
She is currently an Accompanist at the Conservatoire National Supèrieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. She also pursues a parallel career as a chamber musician, accompanist and teacher and gives courses all over Europe and Japan.
She is regularly engaged by theatres such as the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées and the opéra de Lyon. She took part in the premiere of the work by Péter Eötvös, along with the director Ushio Amagatsu.
She has recorded a CD in Japan with the saxophonist Hiroshi Hara on Cafua Records.
